Very easy run. Easier, even, than the Saint. Lot of flat water, mostly tiny rapids. And you'll be fine at Wildcat.

It wasn't at the narrows but well, well before the Narrows.

BTW, the Narrows at this level (1800 cfs) had no eddy service whatsoever. Not sure if that has changed too -- or if it ever has eddy service at other levels. Once you were blown off the wave it's walk your boat up river right.

That sounds like the old days at the Narrows. I was there once with Erik and it was high, no clue what the level was but when a person would drop in, they would "vanish" to the people over in the eddy. it was wild.

Paddled the V Saturday afternoon, about 1800 cfs. The only play at Wildcat is at the deeply squirrely eddyline and semi-retentive hole behind the new Mini Pillow rock on river rt that the main chute piles into. Rodeo enders, stern squirts, and cartwheels. It's not a wave just an extremely strong eddy adjacent to the main current. It's kind of akin to the eddy seam-hole on river right at Big Drop at very high levels (like 2 ft over the bridge).

BTW there was an AWESOME surf wave -- with eddy service -- on river left when the river breaks right and left around one of the islands. The wave was easily 3.5 feet between crest and trough. You can't really see anything but your buddy's helmet when he's surfing it while observing him from a down-river vantage.

Oh and the dam still looks nasty dangerous at 1800 cfs.
